Hi,
My name is Fay and I am a 23-year-old Bay Area native with a background in communication, writing and endlessly pursuing creative endeavours.
I earned a Bachelor’s in Communication and a Minor in Writing with an emphasis in Professional Editing from UC Santa Barbara in June of 2024. During my time in Santa Barbara, I worked for the Humanities and Fine Arts Division, the Men’s Division I Tennis Team as a Social Media Manager, and always made myself available to be involved in the community, whether it was working in local businesses to involvement in the Women in Media Club to becoming a Diana Raab Writing Fellow.
I have a deep fascination for communities and their stories. I think taking the time to listen to one another is the luckiest part of this life we all share. And I believe that strong communication, both macro and micro, is shaped by attempting to understand others. In all I do, from conversation to work to creativity (or usually all three at once), I approach spaces with an empathetic, sharp, dynamic lens.
If I’m not clacking away at my laptop, you can find me dancing with my friends at too-loud of concerts, pinning obscure outfits, media campaigns and passages of prose on pinterest, watching Tottenham Hotspur be the best team in The Prem or taking myself on movie dates (with popcorn in hand, of course).
Thank you for having interest in my little life, I would love to hear about yours.
